Battle of Concepción

Texian volunteers engaged and routed Mexican troops near Mission Concepción on October 28, 1835, during operations around San Antonio de Béxar.

The decisive Texian victory at Concepción boosted rebel morale and helped sustain the prolonged campaign against Mexican forces in Texas, a developing crisis on the frontier during Andrew Jackson's presidency.
