President Hoover signs the Norris–La Guardia Act

On March 23, 1932, President Herbert Hoover signed the Norris–La Guardia Act, curbing federal courts' ability to issue injunctions in nonviolent labor disputes and restricting yellow-dog contracts.

The law strengthened labor rights by limiting judicial interference in strikes and union activity, marking a major shift in federal labor policy during the Great Depression.
